Fast food resturaunts are always trying to expand their market. You can get these gourmet coffee drinks with your breakfast which isn't odd or you can get them any time of day. They are much cheaper than going to starbucks and are somewhat tasty so I think they are probably making $$$ on them.

They are now going to compete with the likes of Starbucks by offering McLatte's about 60 cents cheaper than their competition.

It's called free enterprise and market share. They care to give Starbucks a run for their coffee,,, mean, money! This should be interesting as usually competition can mean good things at both ends to the consumer. My question is when will Starbucks start serving burgers and fries???

To compete with Starbucks and grab some of their market.

To serve the best all around.. and mcdonalds is also open 24hours now so i always get a cup of their coffee real late at night which starbucks is not open so they get alot of midnight customers you dig

Why not? I bet they are cheaper than Starbucks!!!!

They are trying to compete with starbucks and other coffee shops. We have so many coffee houses around my small town and they are always packed. The worst part about is I hate coffee.

Eh - I don't eat Big Macs and I don't drink coffee...they're both horrible in my opinion.

A lot of people dink coffee with every meal, not all drink milk or soft frinks; also they want to compete with starbucks and coffee houses that sell food.
