Question: Are there any nice coffee shops or cafes near the london eye?

There are coffee shops and burger joints on the Thames waterfront just by the London Eye. If you would like value for money go one street away from there to Belvedere Road. There is a string of small cafes, and an All Bar One where we celebrated the birth of our first grandchild who was born at St Thomas's. In fact, the cafe at St Thomas's is pretty good with views over the Thames to the Houses of Parliament!
