24 hour coffee shops in Dallas?
I'm looking for a coffee shop or other place good for doing homework that is open 24 hours in the Dallas area, anyone know of a good place?Obviously I've looked on Google, all I can find is Cafe Brazil and that is not a good place to do homework, thats where all the drunk SMU students go at 3 AM. Should small children be banned from coffee shops, nice restaurants, theaters ect?
Should small children be banned from coffee shops, nicer restaurants and movie theaters? I mean the kind that babble, and squeal, and are just plain LOUD? As well as their parents who can't or don't have any control over their child? For instance, I was at the coffee shop last night, and these people had their children there who squealed, and laughed and babbled the whole time. Most of the people in there are there to study. So, should children just be banned? Parents can take them to Chucky Cheese or McDonalds or some place like that, but keep them out of places where the rest of us need peace and quiet. I know I'll get slammed from mothers who think they are entitled to take their kids anywhere movies, airplanes ect to torture the rest of us, but I think we should segregate them. OR have a separate section for US, people who want peace and quiet.
Why do you drink coffee in coffee shops?
Isn't it a lot cheaper and tastier to drink it at home? Even an instant coffee is a lot better than Starbucks coffee. I tried it once and will never do it again. So, do people who order there have too much money? You could buy a whole can of coffee for the price of just 2 ordered cups.

What are your local funky sandwich or coffee shops that hang paintings and such? I'm finding that most bohemian hotspots don't have websites and are impossible to find without walking in on them by chance. So I'm hoping for any and all that you know of. I'm mostly interested in shops in central New England, but really anywhere would be great. Can you recommend any good coffee shops in Seattle that are good for just hanging out and reading in the evening? I don't care as much about whether it has the most amazing espresso there are plenty of places to find awesome coffee here , but I'm looking for a place that's open late in the evenings, has a relaxed, peaceful vibe, comfy chairs not too noisy or crowded just a cool place to hang out in Seattle and read. Do you think Starbucks became the "McDonald's" of coffee shop?
Is there still someone who think that going at Starbucks is a high class experience? Even if their Coffee taste good, they way they manage the store looks like a fast food restaurant. The cashier call the drink to the Batista and one of them write it on a paper cup and when you're done paying they serve the next customer.Do you think it worth the price for your everyday morning coffee? Wouldn't be cheaper to go at Dunkin Donuts or Tim Hortons instead and visit a " real" coffee shop once in a while?
