Muslim Actions? Is it the Religion or the People?

Islamic infiltration of America is at an all-time high. On every street corner, according to some reports, stands a Mosque. I don’t recall seeing one in my small community, and recent trips to the city haven’t revealed any massive constructions of Mosques, either. Perhaps the reports are false, or perhaps the Mosques are discrete. Either way, the discussion of Islamic infiltration is highly targeted at the coffee shops. Is it the religion or the people? Most coffee drinkers want to know.

Not one to acknowledge massive fears of a group of people, I took a hard look at the comments recently generated by the killing of soldiers at Fort Hood by a man with an Islamic/Muslim name, and wondered through a variety of websites looking for some indication that the shooting might not be related to the events of 9/11 and more recently the wars against terrorism. Not finding any indication that the event was a one man, stand alone event with no intention of terrorism… It seems his connections set off alerts to his Muslim heritage or his Islamic nationality.

One coffee drinker in the heat of the moment brought up memories of a local Japanese Camp from World War II and suggested Muslims be confined to encampments to protect not only themselves but the rest of America. His words to some sounded bitter, but the logic behind them made sense. With all the implied hate toward terrorists, and the lumping together of people/religion into a terrorist profile, this option might prove beneficial at some point. But, later, in the recesses of history, will it be beneficial?

In the wake of many Jehad events, American People deserve to be SAFE, but recent proclamations of terrorist activities indicate this is not the case. Others remember the concept of Americans’ remaining safe by way of independent arms. A discussion of Switzerland and the methods of the Swiss people for keeping their own nation safe came up. There are no arms limitations in Switzerland. Every household has a gun and must know how to shoot. Little is said about crime in Switzerland, and there seem to be no terrorist events in the tiny nation that sits near the middle of Europe.

Nations with mass war-heads tend to be socialistic in nature, communistic governments by trade, and rarely have no arms limitations. Wars are rampant among socialistic countries, where people can’t protect themselves against terrorists and acts of terrorism. Middle eastern countries reek of terrorism, terroristic activities and assaults on the people within the countries. Predominantly Muslim, predominantly Islamic, these nations struggle constantly and have fore more than 2000 years to find peace. Biblically, these nations fought “brother against brother” in times of war and mayhem. Today, these nations are at war.

America had been safe from terrorism for many years. Fort Hood brought memories of 9/11 and ramifications that Americans must consider.

Is it the Religion or the People?
