Misspelling Words on the Radio, Ty?

posted in Coffee Clatter |

Aristotle became Aritostle in Ty’s world today… Talking about Jackie Kennedy’s replacement for John F., Aristotle Onassis.

Y’know, I’m always listening to Ty Harmon on “Anything Goes” because I love to hear the local news. Most of the time, it’s uplifting and positive, a nice change from world and national news these days. Today was no exception.

Dentists and Hygienists on the high plains are out spreading the word about dental diseases, sharing ideas for better oral health, and commenting on how you can have better oral health by simply brushing and flossing every day. The show ranked right up there near the top of things I have to do today, in fact, I was brushing and flossing as I listened to the show.

(It’s easy, the radio is in the bathroom. Trust me, there’s no greater morning inspiration that listening to Ty Harmon while you shower and curl your hair. In fact, there are times I don’t have to use a curling iron. His jokes will curl it for me!)

In all fairness, he shares the stage with Erik Stone, another hometown boy who does an awesome job with the news. Most of the time, Erik gets the news… and the spelling right. As with most media teams, there’s a good and a bad guy in the team… Erik is the good guy, Ty is the bad guy. No doubt about it… They carry on a good show in the mornings. Pull up a cup of coffee and tune in!

Now if we could just get Cherry Creek Radio to carry this KLMR Radio show live on their website? I wonder why that doesn’t happen?
