Excuses Behind Failure — Set a Goal

posted in Make a Difference |

There are days when I fall into excuse mode too. But, seriously, I don’t want to LIVE there. This morning I was thinking about the excuses that come to live and settle in for the long haul, and realized that everyone has an excuse for failure. I’m no different than anyone else. But, I want to be.

In her blog post What’s Your Excuse? J. Sewell Perkins sheds some light on excuses. So, are you still making excuses or have you come to terms with the fact that you’re a failure and just accepted status quo? Really, you do have a choice. You could give up the excuses, let go of that death grip you have on failure and walk steadily toward success if you’d just decide it’s what you want.

Success is the light shining at the end of your goals and failure is darkness. Your eye lids are excuses. Once you open up your eyes and see beyond the excuses, look toward the light and take action to get there. You can do it! Go ahead and make a difference.
